Bamboo Craft showroom at 9 Mahadev Road, New Delhi

Secretary, Dept. of Science & Technology, Government of India visited 9-Mahadev Road on 07th April, 2010, where High-End Bamboo Craft showroom along with 11 bamboo cubical and one store room has been constructed with NMBA support. During the visit, along with other dignitaries Ms. Snehlata Kumar, Managing Director TRIBES, Sh. Raju Sharma, Mission Director NMBA, Sh. Sanjiv Nair, Mission Director, Mission for Geo-Spatial Application & Member E.C. NMBA, Sh. Inderjeet Singh, Joint Secretary DST, Dr. Hari Gopal, Scientist-G, DST & Member E.C. NMBA, and Dr. Anil Agnihotri, DGM, ONGC were also present.  
    
Out of total bamboo formations at site, there is one Bamboo Craft showroom of size 565 sq.ft., 11 bamboo cubicles of size 64 sq.ft. & one store room of size 132 sq. ft. These have been constructed by Sh. Gaurav Sharma of M/s Vdesign purple, Chandigarh. The interiors of the store have been done by M/s Tapini Bamboo Development Agency, Ahmedabad.
